  • Housing Host for a MIM Musician

Open your home to house a musician and you will perhaps start a lifelong friendship and get to hear a fabulous musician practicing in your home!

From one of our past hosts:

“Hosting a musician for Music in the Mountains has brought countless numbers of new friends into our home and has filled it with music, laughter, and precious memories. As our musician practiced in the evenings, we got to enjoy her beautiful music playing softly, making its melodic way throughout our home as we fell asleep.”

Host responsibilities: Supply a room and bathroom - the bathroom can be shared - and kitchen access. Hosts do not need to supply meals or food, though some do. They do not need to supply transport. Most musicians drive here or rent a car.

All hosts are offered two free tickets to one concert and they can ask their musician to obtain a discount on other concerts.

  • Office Admin Assistance

Volunteers must be friendly, personable, and able to give attention to detail. Volunteers must be enthusiastic about the MIM mission and friendly to donors, vendors, and patrons.

Maybe you are just excited to throw things away.
