The MIM Board of Directors (BOD) supports a unique mission that marries world-class performances with a deep commitment to music education. The BOD includes representatives from the orchestra and chorus along with members of the public. The body offers diverse backgrounds and varying professional experience, responsible for governance, sustainability, and advocacy on behalf of the organization.

Songs of the Heart: Love Across Culture and Time will be a musical journey celebrating love in its many forms—romantic, platonic, spiritual, and eternal. Featuring music from the Renaissance era to the present day, this concert will explore the universal expression of love with poetry from cultures around the world. We are thrilled to feature mezzo soprano soloist, Sarah Saturnino—a Grass Valley local and renowned performer with LA Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. Join us for an unforgettable program of exquisite music, rich harmonies, and heartfelt stories of love across languages and generations. Mahler 2 with Auburn Symphony
