Musings with the Maestro – SummerFest 2025 Preview

PLEASE NOTE: THE ZOOM LINK TO THIS EVENT WILL BE SENT TO YOUR REGISTERED EMAIL 2-4 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. In this lecture we will explore the music of our SummerFest concerts. This online educational event will start at 7 PM and will be facilitated via the web conferencing software Zoom, providing participants with an immersive experience combining an informative, live presentation by Maestro Murray with a captivating slideshow. Interested individuals should register with an RSVP to secure access to the event link. New World Symphony

Antonin Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, "From the New World", Op. 95, B. 178, also known as the New World Symphony. This program includes Coleridge Taylor’s Ballade in A Minor. Plus, a favourite of the trumpet repertoire, Joseph Haydn's Concerto per il Clarino in 1796 for the trumpet feat. Scott Macomber.
