Featuring Jesse Barrett, Ronny Michael Greenberg, and Laura Krumm bringing you a rising genre — classical music with sizzle. These three classically-trained performers will wow audiences with their talent and training and then woo patrons with well-known popular favorites and current hits.
Jesse Barrett – This classically-trained oboist gone crooner will be joining MIM for SummerFest at our June 15th concert and dinner – Opening Night in the Garden. Jesse Barrett is a passionate singer with a hypnotic voice. Known to Music in the Mountains for his enchanting oboe performances, Mr. Barrett has appeared with a number of Bay Area ensembles, performing a wide range of repertoire from Handel’s G Minor concerto, to Copland’s “Quiet City,” Barrett is an avid chamber musician, new music enthusiast and teacher of students of all ages throughout Northern California having served on faculty at San José State University, California State University Stanislaus and Dominican University.
Ronny Michael Greenberg – A pianist and producer whose virtuosic talents have graced the stages of esteemed venues across the globe. As founder and CEO of Taste of Talent, a non-profit that showcases the transformative power of Music and Art through innovative cultural programs and promotes entrepreneurial empowerment of Artists, he has established himself as a leading figure in the world of performing arts. Mr. Greenberg has graced the stages of some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Vienna Konzerthaus, Carnegie Hall, and Montreal’s Place des Arts Theater.
Laura Krumm – Praised for her “exceptionally beautiful mezzo” by San Francisco Classical Voice, mezzo-soprano Laura Krumm most recently performed with The Metropolitan Opera to cover Stéphano in Roméo et Juliette, sang Eliza in Omar with San Francisco Opera, and traveled to Hong Kong to sing Jane Seymour in Anna Bolena with Musica. Additional recent highlights include her début with LA Philharmonic as Siegrune in Act III of Die Walküre at the Hollywood Bowl under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel.
