Franklyn D’Antonio began his professional career at the age of 17 with his appointment to the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra by Music Director Sir Neville Marriner before going on to hold positions in the Detroit Symphony, Chicago Symphony, and Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. Mr. D’Antonio is currently in his eighth season as Concertmaster of the Berkeley Symphony. Mr. D’Antonio will be joined by pianist Toon Vandevorst, Assistant Artistic Director of InConcert Sierra, and Pete Nowlen, MIM Artistic Advisor, on French horn. MIM is delighted to present these exceptional artists in such a beautiful setting.
