Our Family Concert is held each year during SummerFest. This event is specially designed for young children, their parents and grandparents. This charming 45-minute concert is geared to the young audience and the young at heart. This event is a great way to introduce children to a symphony orchestra. Your kids can learn about how an orchestra works and hear about how a composer creates his work. We explain the music and how each section of the orchestra does its part.
Accompanying the concert is an “Instrument Petting Zoo” that allows kids to browse a whole collection of instruments. They can pick them up, play with them and find out how they work.
